Suggestions
The quality of the original picture directly affects the resulting cross stitch pattern. Choose images that are bright and clear, with clearly defined objects. We will do our best to make sure the final pattern looks as good as the original.
Cropping
Want to stitch a portrait image? It is often better to choose a close-up shot rather than a whole-body one. Otherwise the face in the final pattern may be too small to be easily recognized. Please state on the order form if you wish the picture to be edited or re-sized for best results.

Masking
Images with simple backgrounds usually look better. Sometimes it can improve the pattern to mask a picture, i.e. remove the background and replace it with a solid colour.

Size
Cross-stitching takes time. The bigger the picture you want to make, the more stitches will be used. Obviously the more stitches you use the prettier the embroidery will be, but it also will be more time-consuming. It takes about 40 hours to finish a pattern of the size 30 x 30 cm.
